IIT Madras has scheduled a demo day on June 24 exclusively for JEE aspirants.
As a part of the AskIITM initiative, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Madras) has decided to hold a demo day for all the JEE aspirants on the 24th of June. A project emphasized by students and alumni, includes campus tours, demo classes, and career counseling, giving them a unique one-day experience.
The institute has also provided information that prospective students can utilize on the website, askiitm.com, to inquire about courses, faculty, campus life, placements, and other related topics. A dedicated team comprising alumni and student volunteers will be available to respond to these queries.
“From 2000 to 2009, as a faculty member, I used to participate in ‘counselling’ during which JEE students would come to IIT Madras to talk to faculty members. We would answer questions about academics, placements, safety, sports, and food, among other topics.” Prof. V Kamakoti, Director, IIT Madras, said.
Interested individuals have the opportunity to register for the event at visit.askiitm.com. The event will be available for both online attendance on June 17 or 18 and offline participation on June 24. The registration deadline is June 16.
