CBSE Board Exam

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has unveiled the date sheets for the upcoming Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in 2024. The examinations are scheduled to commence on February 15, aligning with the announcement made earlier by the board. Students can access the detailed CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 exam date sheets in PDF format on the official CBSE website.

In comparison to the previous academic year, where the date sheets were issued in December, the CBSE has slightly altered its timeline. The exams will initiate on the aforementioned date, with Class 10 final exams concluding on March 21 and Class 12 exams concluding on April 5. Notably, all papers will be conducted in a single shift, spanning from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

For the academic year 2023-24, the CBSE date sheets were made public in February, deviating from the December release in the preceding year. The board has retained the starting date of February 15 for exams, with the conclusion set for April 10. This adjustment provides students with ample time to prepare for the examinations.

In response to inquiries about grading, the CBSE has clarified that no division, distinction, or aggregate of marks will be awarded for Class 10 and 12 board exams. The official statement emphasizes that the Board does not calculate, declare, or inform the percentage of marks. Institutions or employers may determine the best five subjects if a candidate has offered more than five subjects, and any percentage calculation required for higher education or employment will be done by the admitting institution or employer.

As the CBSE continues to evolve its examination processes, students are encouraged to stay informed through official channels for any updates related to the board exams.
