What is JEE Advanced
The JEE Advanced is an exam conducted to get admission to IITs. The Zonal Coordinating IITs, under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board 2023 (JAB 2023), will conduct the JEE Advanced 2023. JEE Advanced 2023 will be held at IIT Guwahati.
By qualifying for JEE Advanced, candidates can seek admission for Bachelor, Integrated Master, or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Sciences, and Architecture.

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2023
Candidates satisfying the following criteria will be eligible for JEE Advanced 2023:
The candidate’s performance in JEE Main 2023 | The foremost criteria for JEE Advanced 2023 is to be among the top 2,50,000 candidates in the JEE Main sessions 1 or 2. |
Age limit of the candidate | Candidates who were born on October 1, 1998, will be eligible. 5 years of age relaxation is provided for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. |
The total number of attempts by a candidate | An aspirant can attempt the JEE Advanced examination twice in two consecutive years. |
A candidate’s appearance in Grade 12 or equivalent examination | The organizing committee will not consider candidates who have appeared for Grade 12 board exams in the year 2021.Candidates with 2022 and 2023 as the passing years are eligible for JEE Advanced 2023. |
Prior admission to IITs | A candidate should not have a record of admission to an IIT in the past. |
